Alliances

In 2006, John C. Haas and Frederick Heldring, LAWS-PNA Co-Convenors, brought together leading members of the following groups to form an alliance to educate and mobilize the public and  the U.S. Congress  against the  serious and growing threat of nuclear and space weapons.

They included:

Since that time, PNA has worked with additional partners on conferences and on Capitol Hill.  They include the Commission on Weapons of Mass Destruction, led by Dr. Hans Blix, former Minister for Foreign Relations of Sweden and Chief Nuclear Inspector in Iraq before the US-Iraq War; the Council for a Livable World; the Union of Concerned Scientists; Coalition for Peace Action; and not least, Faithful Security—the National Religious Partnership on the Nuclear Danger.  We’re in discussions with Nuclear Age Peace Foundation and others, and will partner with several groups on a Youth Network for a Nuclear Weapons Free World.

If you want to link your no-nuclear-weapons group with PNA, just contact us using our form or via email at projectfornuclearawareness@gmail.com
